ETAG uses a portable self-powered “Remote Operated Vehicle” (ROV) to enter the reservoir through a service opening & clean the floor of the reservoir. The reservoir should be maintained at operational level or above six (6’) feet to operate properly. The liquefied solids and all the other sediment from the floor of the reservoir will be discharged by means of a 3” discharge hose at a flow rate ranging between 225 gpm to 300 gpm. The discharge hose has a maximum length of 1,000 feet and is provided with an optional booster pump to assist in the pumping process. The ETAG cleaning system will sweep the bottom floor areas only. The cleaning services do not include tank walls, shelves or elevated areas within the reservoir.

During the operation, underwater video cameras are used to record all activity. Copies of the videos are available to clients, if requested, after the completion of the project.

In the last five (10) years ETAG have cleaned over 75 drinking water tanks and reservoirs, ranging from 50,000 galllons to 2 million gallons storage capacity. Clients include PRASA and industries such as NeolPharma, Pfizer, DuPont, Amgen, and many others.
